mere murshid mann wich laai – hu
that my Peer (Guide) has planted it in my very heart
nafi asbaat da paani de ke
watering then with the negation and affirmation
har rage har jaai – hu
(watering) reaching to each vein and each pore
jug jug jeeve mera murshid sohna
may (the effective of) my precious Guide live forever

whose hand has planted this flower (turned me into the path of righteous)
